BACKGROUND
The new state-of-the-art Downpatrick Campus spans 15,100 m2 and is located in Market Street adjacent to a range of local amenities including transport and leisure services.
The first phase of the building was opened in September 2009 with the second phase expected for completion by February 2011. This will add approximately 30,500 square metres of space to facilitate our workshops, central hall, fitness suite, media suite, general classrooms and car parking facilities. Ultimately it will be a future proofed facility which will help us to meet our vision of becoming one of the top 20 colleges in the world.
FACILITIES/RESOURCES WITHIN THE CENTRE
An impressive range of provision is delivered at the Downpatrick Campus from Adult Basic Education to Further Education, Foundation Degree and business training programmes.
The Campus also boasts:

- Culinary arts suite
- Dark room
- Student cafeteria
- Combined Central Hall and Fitness Suite
A new commercial centre which is open to the public is available which includes a licensed restaurant and professional salon, complete with jacuzzi and sauna.
