You will have all the help you need with a range of services from our award winning careers advice through to the free counselling service.  You can chat with one of our professional advisors who can help you find the answers you need.

We are the only college in Northern Ireland who goes the extra mile with SERC EXTRA, a team of dedicated staff who help students overcome problems.  Often these can related to issues outside of the classroom and your course.  It doesn't matter, we are here to help you achieve your goals.

SERC EXTRA is a unique service designed to support students who are experiencing financial, social/ family issues or learning difficulties.

The SERC EXTRA team work with students every step of the way to address issues or help to put you in direct contact with careers guidance, counselling or financial/learning support.

Available in all campuses, the SERC EXTRA team will do their upmost to find a suitable solution to any problems you may experience to make sure your time at the College is as enjoyable and beneficial as it can possibly be.

Our job is to help you make informed decisions about your course choice and your future. Professionally qualified Careers Advisors provide a service that is accessible, impartial, confidential, and focused on your needs.

This year we have been awarded the matrix Standard for our work in advice and guidance - the first NI college to have this in its entirety!  This means you are guaranteed the very best careers information and guidance available.

Most people experience problems or difficulties at some time in their lives which can affect your ability to study successfully. The College provides a qualified and experienced team of counsellors who will listen to your concerns and help you to consider possible courses of action.  Throughout the year, we run series of events to raise awareness of health and welfare issues.

If you have a disability, learning difficulty or medical condition we can provide a range of support services to help you get the best from your course.  This may include, but is not exclusive to, autism, aspergers, mental health problems, dyslexia or physical difficulties.
